Description
Following on from the successful bike / handlebar mount, I've created this very simple vertical tube mount to attach the walkie talkies to a scooter.
.
Uses 2x 3.5mm or 4.8mm cable ties to attach to any vertical tube between approx 22-30mm in diameter.

Its just a nice cheap simple radio that seems to widstand abuse from the kids. Only 0.5w so not much range, but thats probably a good things for the kids. The Kid-Z mode (CTCSS) ensures they can only hear each other and not all the other muppets with radios. My kids arn't even old enough to know how to use the radio properly but they love carrying it around, shining the torch and pretending to talk to each other.

That's wonderful! We don't have a use for them in our current home but where we lived before the neighborhood was wonderful and the kids could roam free.
