6.5 Creedmoor ammo boxe

 Ammo box for holding 50 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor ammo. I've had best of luck printing this in PLA. For the hinge i used a small piece of filament inserted between the two. I designed the fitment of the filament in the hinge to be tight so it wont fall out. Depending on your printer settings it may require a very small drill bit to true up the hole. Don't make the hole to large or the filament wont stay in. If you  have any suggestions don't hesitate to leave me some suggestions. The box pictured was printed in black petg hf. I added a second file for a slightly modified latch that SHOULD fit a little looser if you having problem with the latch breaking. Shrinkage in different filaments makes it hard to have a one size fits all on this design. If you go to close the lid and it feels like its to tight you could try taking a razor blade and trimming a very small amount off the edge of the latch.
