Sliding Pump Action After Assembly!

Countless hours of modeling, testing, printing, remodeling, reprinting! The end result is quite impressive to hold in your hands! You can print stress free using my custom print profiles made separately for each plate.

4 Plates / 36 Pieces Total:

  • Black Plate - Barrels, Rails, Chin Rest
  • Light Plate - Rear Body, Stock, Pins
  • Dark Plate - Front Body, Lower, Stock Support
  • Red Plate - Rail Covers, Pump

This model is an exact copy of the in-game model! Perfect tolerances, hidden seams and surfaces, and only one “exposed overhang" but it doesn't take away from the end product at all (and out of sight when in use). I am finally comfortable pushing these tolerances further and further. The red pump action can stay unglued and functional if you wish, although I wouldn't pull back too hard by the vertical grip. See picture #2 and you'll notice the pump is “back” vs the rest of the pics. That is what I mean by sliding pump action.

Experience required! Reserve one hour for assembly. This 3D Print is 36 pieces in total. You may not have a 36/36 success rate on the very first print attempts. If you decide to print, closely monitor the first hour of each plate and don't be afraid to skip an object and reprint it by itself if needed. Do not start assembly until you have every piece printed. You'll see in one of my pictures, the main front body started lifting so I had to skip that object using the Bambu mobile app (the mobile app lets you skip an object mid print). Just keep in mind you are not printing one model; you are printing 36 models and a couple may require a skip/reprint/re-do. Hopefully not though! I know there will be plenty of people that will click print on each plate and have zero problems with their perfectly dialed in printer and filament just like my other models. Every plate and part has its own custom profile!

The top rail was tight fitting be patient and think about each step before you proceed. Put all the pins in the rails or body first then try to drop it straight down as one. In general. work from the back to the front. The trigger may not seem to fit at first, but it does! If it really gives you trouble, reprint the trigger at 99%.

Model is essentially life size/adult cosplay/larger than life/Adam-Savage-worthy prop sized. Could be printed at 80-90% for a younger one, but I strongly recommend full size - it's so impressive to hold and realize you ‘made’ this product at home. It feels like a store bought product straight from Epic. Tolerances untested at smaller sizes though. Scaling may break tolerances as it is already close to push-fit.

I recommend gel super glue to avoid dripping. I super glued, clamped and let each joint dry/came back to it every 5 minutes over the course of two hours. You will be much happier if you take your time with super glue than if you rush. It can be quite messy if you get it on parts of the print that don't need to be glued. I recommend applying the gel glue to the female side of every connection for less mess. Try not to get glue on any visible parts.
