F-86 Sabre (1:72 scale) [Landing gear version]

Assembly instructions

The landing gear on this model is difficult to assemble and requires glue, if you want an easier model to assemble, print my MiG-15, or print the No gear w/ stand model that excludes the landing gear and includes a stand and an F-86 Sabre plaque.

1. Remove all parts from the plate. Remove all supports from all parts, be careful removing supports, especially from the front landing gear, which is small and can be easily broken. 
2. locate the cube with “up” written on it and the front and rear fuselage sections. insert the cube into the front fuselage section in such a way that it allows you to still read the word “up” when it is inserted. also make sure that “up” is facing up. glue is not required for this step.
3. Connect the rear fuselage to the front fuselage.
4. Connect the wings into the slots on the side of the assembled fuselage. You can stop here if you want, but every step past requires glue
5. Glue the bombs into the slots on the underside of each wing. 
6. Glue the rear landing gear tyres into the rear landing gear struts. There should be a longer side on the struts, and it should have a slight indent to allow for easier adhesion to the tyres. Glue it in.
7. Glue the front landing gear strut to the front landing gear wheel.
8. The hardest step: glue the front landing gear onto the underside of the fuselage approximately 1 cm (0.4 in) from the bottom lip of the intake.
9. Put weight in the front intake to balance it out, or use the stand provided.
10. Done!
