Description

Printed from PLA on a Bambulab X1C printer. I recommend printing 0.2 layer. All supports

EDIT: Added 1.2mm chamfer on the switch for better integration into the main part. Also, without chamfer, it sometimes caused the handle of the second part to break.

I printed 2 of the Switches on the baseplate of the A1, and the moving part separately in red on a second plate. What I didn’t like was, how the moving part is connected to the bigger part. While mounting 2 of the latches broke. The Switch still works fine, but may be, a version with a M3 screw would be better. Printed with Sunlu PLA.

Hi. On the second part, I added a chamfer for better handling. I believe it will help and it won't break anymore. Otherwise, I also used PLA from the SUNLU brand a long time ago, but due to high brittleness and low strength compared to other PLA brands, I stopped using SUNLU, even though it prints very well and looks good. Unfortunately, it breaks extremely :(.

Hi! I am new to 3D Printing and had a little time. So I opened your stl with Fusion and changed the Design to a M3 screw mount. Was quite fun, and i learned a bit (was my first Time using Fusion). The surface turned out a little bit rough, after Printing the Part, but i am happy with the result.

Other Issues:The switch is to narrow for train cars to pass through, if a curve is the next block. Some of the walls directly close to the moving lever are too close to the "track" and too high. Longer trains thus cannot pass through
