Inspired by the intricate latticework seen in shoji screens, furniture, and architectural decor, this tool lets you craft authentic Kumiko-inspired designs with full control over size, thickness, and complexity. Perfect for creating ornamental panels, lamps, coasters, or artistic grids! 🏯🪵

🔧 Adjustable Parameters:

  • patternType – Select the Kumiko pattern you want to generate.
  • tile_size – Set the size of each repeating tile.
  • bar_thickness_main – Adjust the thickness of the structural lines.
  • bar_thickness_minor – Control the decorative minor lines.
  • bar_height – Define the extrusion height for 3D printing.
  • num_tiles_x & num_tiles_y – Configure the grid size for your pattern.
  • use_frame – Enable or disable an outer border.
  • frame_width – Adjust the thickness of the outer frame.

  • Asanoha – A classic hemp-leaf pattern, symbolizing growth and strength.
  • Triangle – A sharp, angular pattern based on traditional Japanese geometry.
  • Goma Simple – A minimalist interlocking squares design.
  • Goma – A more intricate woven grid, inspired by Kumiko latticework.
  • Izutsu Tsugi – A grid-based interlocking pattern with perspective effects, inspired by traditional joinery techniques.
