Description
The Passthrough Cube Puzzle is an interlocking puzzle created by cutting a cube with three spiral surfaces. The axis of these spirals is collinear with the longest diagonal of the cube, resulting in a set of smoothly interwoven segments that must be assembled in a specific orientation.
Important Note: This model contains large floating areas that require support until the pieces connect in the upper layers. For best results, I recommend printing with a 0.12mm layer height and a wide tree support area. While I have successfully printed functional cubes with 0.16mm and 0.20mm layer heights, these resulted in visible meet lines, layer shifts, and increased sagging. To achieve the best quality, print at a lower layer height, reduce print speed, or use both.

Since all three puzzle pieces are symmetrical, you can mix colors between different filament types or combine pieces from multiple prints. The puzzle in the photos was printed using PLA Sunlu Rainbow01 filament, with mixed pieces taken from separate prints of the same material.


There is a brim surface at the bottom, which you can remove with a knife.
