SoundBuddy
Print Profile(1)

Description
This assistive device supports the playing of a guitar for a friend with an upper limb disability who previously played by wrapping gaffer tape around their elbow.
To ensure the device is playable intuitively, it was entirely 3D printed without the use of motors or electronics.
After numerous iterations and refinements, this sixth prototype is the final result.
SoundBuddy allows for guitar and drum playing without limitations imposed by disability.
It transforms the inability to play, caused by disability, into the ability to play, despite the disability.
We hope it will be used extensively and played until it breaks.
