Is there a recommended placement of the LED strip for best and even lighting? My first thought was to place it around the side walls of the backplate but that might not be optimal. Thanks.

I place all of mine around the side wall of the bottom plate. if needed you can add some aluminum foil to the center of the piece to make it brighter
