This is my first Fusion 360 model, so don't be too harsh with your comments.
I made this because I gave my mother a tube squeezer but she wanted a smaller one.
I searched for the correct size but could not find one, so searched for parametric designs.
I found one parametric design, but when adjusting the parameters I broke the 3d model, so had to design one myself.
The table below (and the last picture) show what parameters are used:
Variable | Value or Formula | Calculated | Description |
cBodyAxis | cTriangleSide * 1 | 20.5 mm | Calculated length of middle axis, a factor (Minimal 1) times TriangleSide |
cTriangleSide | vTriangleFillet + vMeatTriangleFilletSlotFillet + vSlotFillet + 0.5 * vSlotLength | 20.5 mm | Calculated Triangle Side |
vEdgeFillet | 1 mm | - | Fillet of the top and bottom sides |
vEdgeToSlot | 2 mm | - | Distance from edge to slot |
vMeatTriangleFilletSlotFillet | 3 mm | - | Distance between TriangleFillet and SlotFillet |
vSlotFillet | 0.5 mm | - | Fillet of the slot itself |
vSlotLength | 28 mm | - | Length of the slot |
vSlotWidth | 1.5 mm | - | Width of the slot |
vThickness | 5 mm | - | Thickness of the whole body |
vTriangleFillet | 3 mm | - | Fillet of the 3 corners of the body |
Variables starting with c are calculated and should not be modified with the exception of the cBodyAxis formula. Here the factor 1 is used which basically impacts the middle axis (cBodyAxis) allowing you to enlarge the part you grip when sliding the squeezer up and down the tube.
Variables starting with v can be modified to your likings; keep in mind that you might end up with a broken 3d model when certain parameter values don't work together.
The EH_Tube_Squeezer_02.stl file uses the parameters as shown in the table above.
