Description

With the arrival of a new 3D printer comes an influx of spare parts and various small tools that need proper storage. I was no exception—when this fantastic printer appeared (no need to point fingers, everyone knows which one I mean), I soon found myself accumulating a growing collection of parts.

At first, I used a simple box for storage, but as the days went by, space became increasingly limited. Some parts were in high demand, while others were rarely used, leading to a cluttered and chaotic mess.

To address this, I decided to create a modular storage box based on my well-known project. This new design includes additional internal trays with compartments, separated into different sections. I also added a recognizable company logo 🙂 on the lid to make it stand out.

The box's internal dimensions are 160mm in length, 110mm in depth, and 84mm in height. It features internal supports on the walls to ensure the trays remain above a certain level. This size has become my go-to, as I have many other boxes of similar dimensions—it’s just incredibly versatile. If you need custom sizes, you know where to find my collection, which already includes over 500 published variations ordered by users.

For printing, I set up the 3MF file with standard PLA plastic, as it’s the easiest to print, durable, and well-suited for a storage box. I also suggest adjusting the color sequence for the lid, as I only provided the models without predefined settings. You can fine-tune them to match your materials, print parameters, and personal preferences.

Happy printing!
