Description

This is a hovering train that is also compatible on normal wooden tracks.

I made this for the train competition and wanted to create something Unique and Fun.

In this set there is a special bridge that can be connected to normal wooden tracks, which allows the train to hover in the air. This is achieved through using magnets and positioning them with the same poles facing to the train to create the hovering effect. The Train also has spaces underneath for magnets that are glue in place.

The Files provided are all ready to be sliced and printed. there is:

-A main train

-Cargo Wagon

-train connector

-train connector covers

-Bridge (Compatible with wooden train sets)

-Train wheels

I printed this with a 0.4mm nozzle but if you have a 0.2mm then the quality will be better.

For the axle between the wheels I used some rivets that I cut down and glued using some Ardalite, but normal Super Glue should be good too. Same for the Connector covers. I'm sure on the Internet you can get some small metal axles for trains.

Magnets I bought from Ebay.

The Bridge itself is in two pieces and has connectors that slide in and connect the two sides, but make it easier for storage.
