Passenger Ejection Button

Have you ever encountered this scenario: while driving, your passenger incessantly issues unwanted instructions, consumes crumbly snacks, or even removes their shoes and places their feet on the dashboard…😡
Now you can deploy this emergency button, instantly ejecting the bothersome passenger from the vehicle with a single press🤪🪂 (a playful illusion) …or, at the very least, serving as a deterrent.

• The accidental-touch prevention cover is openable, and the button is pressable.

  

• Features a Type-C port (simulated, for enhanced realism).

  

• The spring material is optionally PLA or PETG. While square slots are provided for the spring, inserting both ends simultaneously can be challenging. Consider inserting only the button end, securing the base end with a drop of superglue.
• If you have keyboard switches, strongly consider printing the keyboard switch version of the button!
• Ideally, print the accidental-touch prevention cover using a transparent material.

• 2025.2.25 Added an uninscribed version for single-color printing.
• 2025.3.9 Added a keyboard switch version of the button configuration. Only the button and a new base need to be printed, eliminating the need to reprint other parts, essentially replacing the first plate of the previous version. The holes are sized according to Cherry keyboard switch specifications, and should be compatible with most keyboard switches. I must say, the feel of the keyboard switch is truly exceptional, incredibly addictive! Many thanks to @夺命大粗腿 in the comments for the suggestion.

A quick reminder: good bed adhesion is essential for a successful print.
Make sure your material and temperature settings are correct, and clean the build plate regularly.
