Description

Hello, everyone.

Just made a spool shaft with bearing, because in my case TPU spool had a lot of friction on the original shaft.

Made version 2, with more slots for bearings and separator for smaller spools.

Numbers in the names is a length (75 and 102 cm), just choose one of the model (mostly 75 spools with support), same length stick, put 3 or 4 bearings (608 7*22mm) and screw it to upper holder.

thank you for designing this. worked great with PETG on x1c. I used 608-2RS bearings. fitting the bearings was a little snug at first since the rod printed a little thick on the ends but no big deal with a little elbow grease. I intend on putting a cardboard spool on this so wanted to make sure I have a smooth roll.

perfect this is exactly what I needed. I tried with my cardboard spool and realized it wouldn’t work after all due to the inset of the cardboard spindle. now I bet it will work! will print this out and give it a go. huge thanks and I appreciate the follow up.

the cylinder worked great, thank you very much. Spool feed has MUCH better movement now that bearings are being used. thank you very much for this design. i use my +1 spool for abrasive filaments that i dont want to run through my AMS and this allows me to further reduce friction.

Printed in PETG for the extra strength and it works perfectly. Fit on threads is awesome. Unfortunately my spool birdnests as it needs a little friction to keep from running away. Great model though for someone that needs the extra slickness.
