This 3D model features a storage box for small filament spools, including a dedicated basket for moisture-absorbing silica gel. The design helps protect the filament from humidity, preventing its degradation.
These boxes are specifically designed for filament spools created by me, with printing profiles available in sizes ranging from 20 mm to 70 mm. The inner diameter of the box is 110 mm, while the outer diameter is 120 mm. The silica gel basket has a diameter of 46 mm and a height of 24 mm.
The model includes an optional gasket, which is best printed in TPU, though the box can also be used without it. PETG is the recommended material for printing due to its higher moisture resistance. Using a transparent filament allows you to see the spool's color without opening the box.
