We tested several times and were able to scan all the codes. When scanning various codes consecutively, the process sometimes required us to close and reopen the app or adjust the phone's position to let it focus properly.
Unless any other issues are detected, I will now work on improvements for this model.

The model has been thoroughly tested and printed multiple times before publishing.
I've conducted a batch of automated tests to check all QR code customization permutations and also tested the printed version to ensure aesthetic changes don’t affect functionality.
Printing hints
The 3MF generator for the customizer has been tuned to print at the best possible resolution (0.16mm layer height, Arachne wall generator).
I strongly advise against printing this model at less than 0.16mm layer height. Please don’t complain if you print at 0.28mm and the QR code doesn’t work.
The model can be printed with the QR code facing either the plate or upwards. If you use a textured PEI plate, I suggest printing it upward.
Printing with AMS:
If you own an AMS, printing is straightforward. You only need to customize your QR code, export the 3MF file, and you’re ready to go!
Printing without AMS:
If you do not own an AMS or prefer your card to have some bevel, you can turn off the “AMS compatible” option in the customizer. You can then define how much the QR code (logo, text, and borders) will be extruded.
Finally, to apply the color change, follow these simple steps:
- Download the customized STL file.
- Import it into your preferred slicer.
- Slice the model.
- Add a filament change.
To add the filament change:
Now you can print your model. The printer will notify you when it’s time to change the filament.
