Introducing Travel BINGO! This innovative game features interchangeable bingo cards and is designed to fit on the Bambu A1 Mini and larger printers. I've created two versions of the top plate: one compatible with AMS and one without.
Inspired by the "Geography Studies" contest (That i got disqualified from!), I aimed to make learning local geography fun and adaptable. Travel Bingo is not just a game, but a tool that helps players recognize states from vehicle license plates and match them to images or abbreviations on the bingo card. As your knowledge grows, you can increase the challenge by calling out state capitals before covering the squares or switching to a different bingo card.
Key Features:
- Sleek Design: The game is comfortable to hold and features a self-contained sliding window (slider) marker that prevents messes.
- Secure Slider: A locking nub keeps the slider closed, and it can be easily reopened by pressing near the nub and sliding backward.
- Interchangeable Cards: A slot on the right side allows you to swap bingo cards, ensuring that the game always feels fresh and versatile. This feature keeps the excitement alive, and the players engaged.
Printing Recommendations:
- Print in PETG for durability in hot vehicles.
- The only non-3D printed item needed for assembly is glue. Use the gluing divots on the back of the top plate for assembly. Be cautious when gluing to avoid gluing the sliders shut.
Assembly Instructions:
- Allow all parts to cool completely before assembly.
- Place the top part of the board face down.
- Insert all sliders in the closed position.
- Apply glue to the left side of the gluing divots, avoiding excess.
- Position the slider cover, aligning the divots and cutouts. Place a book on top for even pressure while drying.
- After drying, ensure sliders move freely and return them to the closed position.
- Glue the back cover in place and let it dry under a book.
- Print and cut out your bingo cards at actual size.
Bingo Boards
I've made three general geographical regions of the license plate bingo boards: Eastern, Central, and Western United States. I've made two types for each region: state abbreviations and state outlines; each type has four boards to choose from. I've also made a blank board that you can fill in yourself. That's a total of 25 different boards to choose from, with the state outlines being the more difficult option.
Edits:
[02-21-2025] - I combined the board downloads for each region into one file.
I appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing this design for your needs. If you enjoyed it, please follow me for more creative works and explore my other designs. Thank you! 😎
