Description

Monitor Riser Design Contest 2025

I made a bunch of monitor stands this year and tested them out with co-workers.

Most of the folks I know have multiple monitors and then a notebook/laptop that sits at a different level so I created a series of stands that supports both the flipped up and open version of slotting a laptop and the closed version.

Make sure to check your manufacturer dimensions because many laptops start of with tappered dimensions and then become fuller.  This model can easily scale up to fit any laptop but these were mainly designed around HP Elitebook 14" laptops.  I am using this model on my massive Alienware laptop without issue.

I try to lay the print so the layers support the weight in  a manner that will not split on a layer.  This means I generally, print on the side and the adjust the geometry to support it.
