Presenting the olympic 0.25KG plate for micro increments !
This is a fun and practical addition to your home gym if you're focused on strength training and progressive overload. Plus, when you compare it to other options available online, you'll find that these plates typically cost over €20, with top-tier brands charging even more. If you manage to get a good deal on PLA, you'll save some serious cash!
As expected, these won't be as precise as calibrated plates. My first plate came in at 240g, a bit lighter than the slicer's prediction. To correct this, I adjusted the model scale (only on the Z-axis, to avoid deformation on the XY plane). Feel free to tweak the scale if needed—note that I'm not using Bambu PLA, and density can vary by supplier. Personally, those 10g differences won't make a big impact for me!
