Description

This is a very printable mask worn by some of the splicers in the hit video game Bioshock.

The mask has been designed to print in multiple materials, and has been uploaded here in a higher resolution than was done with my original design on Thingiverse all those years ago. Included are mask parts that have been cut up to be able to fit on the standard printer size, but also included are unsliced parts that you can print on a larger machine (the ones pictured were printed on a Formbot printer).

Also included is a small stand that I use to display the mask in my house.

It has been scaled to print, so that once printed it will fit the average person's head, with a bit of room to put some padding on the back to ensure it's comfortable to wear, or simply hang on a wall (it makes a great display piece).

Printed in matte white and gold silk PLA, came out real nice. Thanks!

This is the picture that sold me. It seriously looks like something out of a museum. I may redo it in gold silk.

it turned out so amazing and smooth. the ears fell off the plate at 95% complete, but I blame myself.

Thank you! this is one of my first prints. I’ve had the printer for a little over a week.

In case anyone is wondering, it fits women, as well.

Any way you can add some alignment plates for the ears?
