X1C Chamber Heater Inlet Cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
X1C Chamber Heater Inlet Duct.
If you print and use my chamber heater design, this inlet cover will help circulate air around the box pulling air from the top and pushing it out the bottom. The build platen in the chamber creates a barrier and creates a temperature differential between the top and bottom of the chamber. This pulls air from the top and pushes it out the bottom. This allows the hot air from the bottom to more rapidly flow up around the build plate and keep the box a more consistent temperature. Installation requires a M5 tap or 10-32 SAE tap to tap some threads in the fan housing. Install your choice of hardware. You could probably also use some self tapping screws, but I did not try this approach.
