This is a stripped down, easier to make MMS for 2 1kg filament spools.
I was inspired to make this by the orignial MMS (https://www.printables.com/model/676422-bambu-labs-mms-manual-material-system), as I wanted to achieve the same effect but with using significantly less non-3d printable parts.
The original uses 16 bearings, 2 metal rods, threaded inserts and a lot of screws - however the MMS 0.5 uses 1 M3 8mm screw and a length of PTFE tubing (something I had lying around). Also you may want to add some anti-slip feet as it may move around during aggressive printing.
The only thing you need to do in the slicer is to support block the bottom stand, as the 2 filament guides have to be hollow. A handy guide to this in Bambu Slicer/Orca Slicer is here -
It is possible to link 2 of these together by using a Y - splitter (link here - https://www.printables.com/model/372040-ptfe-tube-y-splitter-with-strong-magnets).
I also plan on making a 4 spool version, and will post that soon.
In the meantime happy printing and easy filament swapping!
