I'm new to 3D printing, when I started printing this I did not realize how big it actually is. but it turned out amazing.
It was my first huge print done on my X1C.
I'm not sure if this was me doing something wrong or is just the way the model is designed but since everything is printed and two halves and is supposed to be glued together, if you look at Mario's foot and ear you can see there's a gap between the two pieces although both pieces were printed phase down on the bed for whichever reason they're not completely level (bed leveling is enabled before every print)
is it possible to modify these parts within bamboo slicer to join together with inserts ( like the shoes sliding into the slot) so they align perfectly instead of just relying on glue?
also when you look at Mario's blue belly you can see the layers become on top kind of messy or not so fine-lined/detailed is there any setting in the printer that would make those lines finer?
Here's an idea, the modeller has already created the model FOR FREE for you to print. If you'd like changes made for better fitment because you're not happy with the FREE MODEL, then go ahead and make the changes yourself.
i used Polymaker PLA and Sunlu PLA +
Print very well and everything match well.
Personnally, my SuperGlue sticked too fast so I had a shift in the overalls but I fixed it by warming with a powerfull lighter.
I tried to unglue it with acetone without success, so it let white marks on the plastic, that's why I had to paint the overalls with acrylique. Finally, I do prefer my home made blue-purple color.
Thank you very much
