1:8 Scale Old School Finger Boards - Tech Deck
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
This is a series of finger boards at a 1:8 scale, designed to fit Tech Deck hardware. Each deck is meticulously crafted to be true to shape and scale, ensuring period-correct concaves and tails.
Each deck is modeled after one of the iconic skateboards in the upcoming Bones Brigade Series 15 reissue.

Once printed, you have a couple of options depending how much you want to complete the look. You can just print these out and enjoy them as is, or fully assemble them for play or display.
Included are the graphics files for each deck, already scaled and ready to print.
This is the steps I took to complete this set:
- Print nose down (I used a smooth plate for best results).
- minimal post processing was necessary, some light sanding is optional but PLA does not take too well to sanding.
- Print the graphics and cut out each shape before glueing. I used Elmer's rubber cement - brushing the glue on each side and letting it dry tacky.
- Make sure to poke thru the truck holes with a needle or a cell phone sim card remover tool works well.
- Optional - I sprayed each deck with a thick coat of glossy varnish, to get that realistic shine.
- At this point you could finish and display.
- Option 2 - Add Grip tape and install similar to a full sized deck (Tip: could also rubber cement sand paper for a similar look).
- Option 3 - Install Tech Deck or similar 1:8 scale trucks and wheels to complete the models.
I added a few photos of the build process for reference.
Non-printables parts list (affiliate links, but most items can be purchased locally):
