PELICAN 1200 Case Gridfinity Frame Insert

Gridfinity 4x5 base plate for PELICAN 1200 Case

Convert your Pelican 1200 case to accommodate Gridfinity bins with this sturdy baseplate which was designed to fit perfectly into the bottom of the case above the foam insert. It's keyed to lock into the base of the case with 3 notches at back and 2 in the front to ensure it stays centered and secure.  I've made an assorted set of Gridfinity bins sized to fit the height inside the Pelican Case.

To install, remove the pick and pluck foam walls from the center and place the frame in the bottom, then replace the foam insert. To take full advantage of the entire frame and to ensure the bin inserts stay in place, it's recommended to remove all the pick and pluck pieces from the center leaving only the perimeter foam.

I've provided two print profiles - a mono color and dual color (AMS) version. I printed the example white with black text for contrast in the photos, but the AMS version is inverted (black with white text).
