Description

PTFE Tube Connector - Comgrow/Sovol Filament Dryer

This 3D printing profile is for a replacement PTFE tube connector designed specifically for the Comgrow/Sovol filament dryer. The connector replaces the existing filament exit guide while retaining compatibility with the original nut provided. The design ensures a precise fit for standard PTFE tubing with 2.5mm inner diameter and 4mm outer diameter, such as the one in the BOM from bambu lab or from here.

Some recommendations:

  • Use the original nut that comes with the filament exit guide, as it is made from a temperature-resistant material suited for the filament dryer's operating conditions.

  • Material Selection: Print the PTFE connector using a material that suits your temperature requirements to ensure durability and proper functionality.

  • Seal Improvement: For an improved seal, use a silicone cap between the guide and the dryer casing.

  • Storage Tip: Place the old filament guide onto the silicone cap when not in use to prevent misplacing it.
