Description

Gridfinity bin for needle files. Available with slots for 6, 10, 11, or 12 files. Please let me know if you have a need for a different number of files and I can add more versions!

Needles are angled so they are easy to see a grab.

Stackable (for most length of needle files), but no magnets.

Updates:

2/7/2025: Added fillets in a couple areas where the walls were too thin for some slicer settings.

2/22/2025: Added long versions of 10 and 12 file bins. Adjusted normal bins to accommodate slightly longer files.

Updated to 5 stars as it fits the 10 piece HF Pittsburgh Diamond Grit Needle File Set. My original rating was for the 12 piece Needle File with Poly Handle: Not long enough for the Harbor Freight version. They are right at 160mm long. If the opposite wall wasn’t sloped they would fit.

This is good feedback. I went and edited all the bins to have a shallower angle in the back. I am not sure if it's enough or that one set, I don't have those files to confirm. There are 5U long bins available now too, though that might be overkill for those grey ones.

Like the design. Could you add a model that increases the length of the holder from 4 to 5? I have the Tsubosan needle files and they are just a bit too long for the current design. Thanks

Hi, sorry for the delay. I made longer versions of the 10 and 12 file boxes, and tweaked the standard boxes to get a few more mm of space for files in there. Take a look and let me know if these work for you!

Other Issues:The infill is excessively sparse, resulting in an imperfect surface finish on the upper layers The files protrude excessively, preventing the stacking of containers

The default print profile uses lightning infill, which looks more sparse than it is. Print profile uses 15% infill, which should be enough to maintain a good top surface appearance, unless the infill failed. There's also now longer bins for files that may be too long for the default boxes.
