Description

My girlfriend needs to transport her purse or shopping bags on daily basis, so she asked me to design bigger hook.

I tried to design it as simple minimalistic design with enought strenght. Also tried to place it as low as possible, so the cargo has smaller pendulum effect on steering.

Using is simple "plug and play"! Just unscrew the 2 screws holding handlebar and screw them back through this hook. Simple as that.

If you have any tips for improvement, feel free to let me know. I will be more than happy to improve it furtermore.

Printed in PLA and 100% infill it is strong enought to lift whole scooter by that hook.

How I Designed This

My design process was sketching shape of the hook from left side, extruded to desired width, cut out holes for bolts, cut out from top the shape of main tube and last step was edge smoothing.

some of the slopes are a bit too steep, causing some not-so-smooth surfaces facing the print bed. outside of that, I sanded them down and the print is very reliable on my scooter!
