First shot at creating a power cord brace for the Asus ROG Ally when using the Skull and Co grip to eliminate wobble from the USB-C connection.
At this time, the insert intentionally does not fully friction fit / stay in the Ally XG pin slots (to try to avoid snapping off), but will stay friction fit to the stock Asus 65W power brick, or JSAUX 100W and 250W straight and right angle USB-C PD cables.
Design is certainly not yet perfect to the case, and I'm open to suggestions and feedback to improve the model futher.
My current testing is only with eSUN PLA+; I have not yet tried any alternative material like PETG, ABS, TPU or PA. If you do try with these materials, please let me know your results!
Best results when printed at 0.12mm, and you will want supports to be safe.
