After making a object that switched filaments over 700 times I came to the conclusion that I needed a waste plastic collection the issue however was that if I ever needed this kind of print again I would run into the issue of a side bin filling up far too fast. and so I set off on making a easily detachable magnetic chute that connects to the back of the Bambu lab X1C and would send the waste strait down through a hole I cut in the table for this purpose. if you would like to do the EXACT same I used 4 -12mm wide 3 mm thick neodymium magnets (for the completed models I've reduced the gap between the bottom of the model and the magnets to get a stronger stick) I cut a hole with a 2-1/8 hole saw attachment (actual hole diameter is 54 mm almost exactly) my table is 25.7 mm tick so the bottom of the chute just pokes out in case I need to add and extension (easily done with some glue if needed). don't forget to pause the print to add the magnets otherwise you'll just have to butt the chute up against the printer and hope nothing moves.
I have also added some test pieces to make sure your hole and the top fit super snuggly to the tube (mine was incredibly tight fitting so friction easily holds everything in place) and a single solid piece that you can print (I wouldn't recommend as it barely fits on the build plate if you fiddle with it)
