Description

Rather large geodesic Sphere that I originally intended to use as a light.
Could be with or without diffusers, and a single bulb in the center or led's for each hex or pentagon.

can stand on the base or be hung from a mount on the mount pentagon

It needs

  • 12 pentagons ( one should be replaced with a mount pentagon if you want to hang it or put it on the base
  • 20 regular hexes
  • 60 irregular hexes
  • a staggering 180 M3x16 screws, although I found it stays together without them

for mounting ( easiest is to assemble 2 halve sphere's then push those 2 halves together)

diffusers that are included where originally meant for WS2881 led's on a PCB one led on a round PCB, if needed I could add a diffuser for the standard 5mm led's that seem to be available on strings and do save one a huge hassle in soldering everything together.

No code available at this point.

The base was just a temp thing and isn't entirely finished, but functional enough, this is one of those projects collecting dust  after it got started years ago and I  got distracted from it, maybe it's useful to someone :)
