To make the sword a bit stronger, I increased the number of walls because you know how kids are - they will mess around with it so the first one broke almost instantly after waving it around. Also, it needs a bit of sanding in my case, to clean the supported parts.
For the Leds, I took an old USB cable, cut off one end, and attached it to the ledstrip with these handy - solder free - Led strip clamps. Then I had to do just a little soldering to connect the wire to the old USB cable and that was it. I now have it connected to a Hue compatible Smart plug so this cool Ninjago light serves as a night light for my kid. It's a bit on the bright side it switches off after a while and then his real night light takes over.
Tip: with the Bambu smooth plate, it comes out so clean that is looks like it came from a store!
