This was an especially long design process. Your support will encourage me to do similar projects in the future. Thank you!

6 unique coasters based on classic Minecraft ores: Redstone, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Iron, Coal.

Dimensions: 9 x 9 x 0.2 cm

Requirements

Each model requires 3 or 4 colors and ~15 color switches, so AMS is required:

  • Redstone: black, white, grey, red
  • Gold: black, white, grey, yellow
  • Emerald: black, white, grey, green
  • Diamond: black, white, grey, blue
  • Iron: black, white, grey, brown
  • Coal: black, white, grey

Here's the list of Bambu filaments that I've used, but feel free to experiment with what you have at hand:

  • black: PLA Matte Charcoal (11101)
  • white: PLA Matte Ivory White (11100)
  • grey: PLA Matte Ash Grey (11102)
  • red: PLA Basic Red (10200)
  • yellow: PLA Basic Yellow (10400)
  • blue: PLA Matte Ice Blue (11601)
  • brown: PLA Matte Latte Brown (11800)

Printing Instructions

Please use the attached print profile! Everything's printed upside down for a smoother top surface, but this means you'll only see a flat grey rectangle in the preview (as expected).

If you decide to make changes, here's what you should know:

  • Layer Height and Initial Layer Height should both be 0.08 mm
  • Infill should be 100%
  • Don't scale on the Z axis (disable “uniform scale” and only scale X and Y)

I've posted about how these were made here: https://dvoros.com/posts/breaking-the-rules-of-hueforge/
