The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is a tabletop game for 2-4 players. The objective is to win by concealing your numerical code and deciphering your opponents'. Here are the basic rules:

1. Game Setup:
   • Shuffle the 26 numbered cards (13 black and 13 white, each with a number from 0 to 11, plus one black and one white Joker [X] card). Each player draws four cards at random (three cards each in a four-player game).
   • Arrange your hand in ascending numerical order from left to right. If you have matching black and white numbers, place the black card to the left of the white card. The Joker [X] card may be placed anywhere.
2. Gameplay:
   • The game begins with any player and proceeds clockwise.
   • On your turn, draw a card from the deck and place it aside, ensuring only you can see it.
   • Then, designate one of another player's cards and guess its number. That player must truthfully respond with "correct" or "incorrect".
   • If correct, the player reveals the guessed card to everyone, and you may continue guessing.
   • If incorrect, you must incorporate the drawn card into your hand in its correct numerical position, ending your turn. Play proceeds to the next player.
3. Additional Rules:
   • If the deck is empty when it is a player's turn, they skip drawing a card and proceed directly to guessing.
   • If a player chooses not to guess or guesses incorrectly and the deck is empty, they must reveal one card from their hand, ending their turn.
4. Winning Condition:
   • A player is eliminated when all their cards are revealed.
   • The last player with unrevealed cards is the winner.
