Description

I have designed a pokeball container which is held together by 8 small magnets. This can be printed in separate colours and glued together.

It is designed to have 8 magnets 3mm in diameter and 1mm thick. These are pushed into place (you may add glue as well)

I have also designed a stand for this pokeball container so please look at my other models

Print came out clean off the A1 Mini. Just added the magnets

Printed well on my A1 and A1 Mini. Had a problem with the magnets though. The 3mm ones I have weren’t nearly enough to hold the halves together. They weren’t sitting completely flush with the model, so I had the bright idea of touching them for a couple seconds with my soldering iron to heat up the plastic and pressed them flat. TIL: At around 80° C, a magnet will lose its magnetic force and it will become demagnetized permanently! Who knew??

Cool model. Printed very nice. Followed the instructions with the magnets and glued the black portions to the red and white. My only issue is the 3x1mm magnets dont hold the top and bottom very well. I added a 4mm set to the front and back and it helps.

Awesome Print! Didnt change a thing with my A1. My only complaint has to do with my magnets i used. They are weak and do not hold the two parts together as well as i had hoped.

Pokeball printed well! Some supports in there that I'm not sure are truly necessary given the curve of a sphere but so be it.
