Description

Hey MakerWorld! šŸš€

One of my top priorities was to ensure that the container collecting waste didn’t use a ton of filament to print. So, I’ve created a brand-new version of the "Poop Collector"—this time entirely from scratch, as I’m learning 3D modeling! šŸŽØ

Other designs I’ve seen were often bulky or inefficient, so I decided to create my own solution from the ground up. Here’s what I came up with:

  • Cutouts shaped like little poops to reduce the filament needed for printing. šŸ’©
  • Improved attachment—the container now fits perfectly with the Z-axis arm. šŸ”§
  • Shortened length, because a smaller, more compact design was all that was needed.

The entire container uses only about 50g of filament, which was a key priority for me. I’m super happy with how it turned out—it fits much better next to my printer, and I love the new look! šŸ˜„

Print Profile

For this project, I’ve included two printing options in one profile:
1ļøāƒ£ A single-color version, which I used to print my model (photos included).
2ļøāƒ£ A multicolor version, designed for AMS users who want to add a pop of color. (Honestly, I wish I had printed it this way myself! šŸ˜„)

Feel free to choose the version that best suits your needs—whether it's the minimalist single-color or the vibrant multicolor option!

Additionally:

  • I added brims to ensure the print stays securely on the bed. šŸ› ļø
  • There’s a slight curve in the protruding part, caused by the two-layer design. While it’s less rigid, it’s a tradeoff I’m happy with to save filament—and I think it even adds a unique touch to the design!

I hope you like this new version as much as I do! If you print it, let me know what you think—and don’t forget to hit that "Boost Me" button if you’re feeling generous! šŸŒŸšŸ’›

Boost Me (for free)

Like what you see? šŸš€ Hit "Boost Me" and give this model some love! Every boost helps me keep creating cool stuff—and hey, it might just make your day a little better too. Plus, it’s a win-win: you get good karma, I get points, and we all get awesome prints! šŸŽ‰ Don’t be shy, hit that button and let’s make the MakerWorld even cooler together! šŸ˜ŽāœØ
