Description
This 2024 party favor butterfly knife is 100% 3D Printed!
- If you have an AMS available, you can color the lattice portion of the handles by right clicking the handle in Bambu Slicer --> Split --> To Parts. After that you can change the color of each lattice object independently.
- I printed using supports and did have to do a bit of cleanup post-print.
- The pin is designed to enter from a specific direction. Please insert it (small end first) through the larger hole in the handle!

Are the handles supposed to touch, like be flush against each other, in the open position? or is that as close as they get in the open position? I am just trying to figure out if I printed them wrong or wrongly assembled

It looks like you have it correct! The handles should not touch in the open position.

I had to print with the triangular sides facing down to get the triangles to print with a different color. Otherwise I guess they are too fine because when I slice they don’t show up if they are oriented vertical. Orienting them facing down does cause some extra support.
