Description

A crochet/knitted version of Ralphie in his classic bunny costume! Print profiles included to print as small keychain or ornament, or a larger 5 inch figurine (26.5 hrs print + 286g of filament).

Print profiles implement a pause once it has passed his feet & tail for filament swap - if using 1 AMS you'll need to swap the white and red (dark pink) for yellow and skin tone. If you have 2 or more AMS, you might want to use Bambu Slicer and paint his glasses brown and could even do the zipper in a shiny silver silk PLA! All my files are easy to color in bambu slicer - be sure to select the fill bucket and turn off edge detection and all the main parts can be recolored.

Awesome looking model. This is my first multi-color print and I am not sure how to set this up. I inserted your project into Bambu Studio and see you have 6 colors. Do they need to be loaded initially in any certain order in the AMS settings? I can't do 1-4 like you have because white is needed at the beginning and it is in slot 6 and I can't seem to find a way to change it. If I just load say, White-Red-Black-Pink and set the colors in AMS is it smart enough to grab the right ones? Also when the pause happens and I swap out the 2 colors, do I need to do anything in the AMS settings to change the color or just let it go? Sorry for the beginner questions. I am not new to 3d printing, just Bambu/Multi-color. Thanks.

You can have the colors loaded in the AMS differ from the order shown in Bambu Slicer, it does not matter. Just slice the file, then click print plate and it will prompt you to assign each color shown into the slicer to a color that is in your AMS (make sure correct colors of your AMS are showing, sometimes I have to click to the Device tab then back to the Preview tab for it to show the most current colors).

It will try to assign what it can be make sure each one is matched up with what's in your slicer (which for this file should include white and red initially). The AMS slots those 2 colors are in are what you will swap out at the pause. So for example if you plan to swap white for yellow make sure you assign those colors to the same AMS slot before sending to printer, same with red and skin tone.
