We are proud to unveil the SVEINS Span/Core Handbag Loop & SVEINS iPadBag “Dappled”

The SVEINS iPadBag “Dappled” is a flap-style iPad bag with strap loops, designed to accommodate a 12.9-inch iPad Pro even with a case or Apple Pencil attached.

At this stage, we have already completed testing on texture variations across different nozzle sizes, as well as the print validation of the SVEINS Span/Core Handbag Loop. The SVEINS iPadBag “Dappled” is now in the midst of intensive printing.

This project integrates both digital sculpting and parametric modeling to explore the expressive tension and structural possibilities of biological shapes and fluid geometries under flexible printing materials. Through integrated 3D printing, it challenges conventional design limitations, constructing alien-like forms that are as intricate and intense as living organisms. No AI was used at any stage.

After extensive experimentation and prototype development, the current Span Handbag and Core Handbag versions of the SVEINS bags have been successfully completed！In addition to designing new models in the future, I will continue to refine and optimize the print quality！

In this round of crowdfunding, I will release a series of model files for bags and accessories based on the current theme. These are offered for personal printing, personal wear, or structural study. The SVEINS files are intended for personal 3D printing and wear, and commercial use is not included in the reward tiers. For potential commercial collaboration, you are welcome to contact me directly. The current models — Span Handbag and Core Handbag — have been tested on the Bambu Lab P1S printer using 90A/95A TPU material, and strike a balance between visual form and structural flexibility. Each model will come with basic documentation and suggested settings.

Timeline

The two current models — Span and Core — have been fully modeled and print-tested, and will be delivered within five days after the campaign ends.

For stretch goal content (the tablet-compatible bag, accessory kit, and preview model from the next theme), I will begin development and release teaser visuals before the corresponding funding milestones are reached. These stretch goal files will also be delivered within five days after the campaign concludes, with progress updates provided throughout.

Modeling for these additional rewards is already in progress, and each will be test-printed before release.

⚠ Please note: The model files are optimized for A1, P Series, X Series, and H2D printers. TPU filament is strongly recommended. Unfortunately, current model sizes are not compatible with A1 mini.

This crowdfunding campaign will help sustain the project’s continued development throughout the month, including new shape design, print testing, visual documentation, and file refinement.

All forms in SVEINS are created without any AI-generated imagery or auto-modeling tools. Every structure is shaped through digital sculpting and parametric logic. However, due to language constraints, this text was translated with AI assistance.

I’m an independent designer. My background was originally in conceptual furniture and spatial design, but I was deeply inspired by close friends and creative directors to re-enter the world of fashion through a new lens. I now focus on developing the SVEINS collection, experimenting with flexible materials and sculptural silhouettes, while also engaging in learning-based collaborations with avant-garde fashion brands.
