Wow, 8,000 followers! We’re absolutely blown away to hit this milestone on MakerWorld. When we first started sharing our 3D designs, we never imagined a community of 8,000 makers would rally around our creations. This journey has been amazing thanks to our MakerWorld community. We want to take a moment to express how grateful we are for every one of you. Thank you for believing in our ideas, printing our designs, and bringing your positive outlook to our little corner of the 3D printing sphere.

While hitting 8k followers is exciting, we want to stress that it’s so much more than a number to us. The real achievement over these past months has been the community connections we’ve formed. It’s the little things that make this hobby fun, like when someone shares a photo of one of our models or posts a story about playing one of our games with their family. There have also been several times that classrooms, libraries and public maker spaces have printed our designs which has been beyond cool. 

If you think that designers have enough photos of their models in the comment section, certainly consider posting even more. All of the color variations, or ways that you've made the model your own keep inspiring us and other makers. 

Looking Ahead: 10K and Beyond

The next fun goal we have on our radar is 10k followers by October, but it's just a number and we really plan to focus on more interactions with the community. We will certainly plan something big for the milestone, maybe a special model or a Q&A session, we'll take suggestions. We can't wait for all of the new members to bring fresh ideas and feedback. 

While the follower count is fun to watch, we hope to have an even more engaged community, asking questions within model comments, sharing what you're printing, or what game model you'd like to see next. Perhaps we can also share some more behind the scenes tips and content to continue helping makers realize their goals, too. 

Community Collaboration

Another thing we’re excited about is collaborating with other makers. The 3D printing community is full of talented designers, and we want to be a part of more joint projects. Whether it’s co-designing a model or teaming up with one of you on a fun mash-up design, we’re open to it all. In fact, if you’re a creator who’s interested in working together on something, let’s talk! We believe collaboration can lead to some really unique creations (think of YouTube style collabs where we might have different follower bases). A goal for us this in the next 6 months is to participate in at least one community collaboration or group project.
