@waylaidwanderer Welcome to the Print Clinic! When printed parts are very brittle and snap easily like this, the most common physical culprit is wet filament. As the damp plastic passes through the hot nozzle, the moisture boils and creates tiny steam bubbles and micro-voids inside the extrusion. This severely weakens the bond between layers, making the finished print extremely fragile. Have you dried this spool of filament recently, or is it straight out of the bag?

@Amerikon I've never encountered moisture or drying only uv degradation due to sunlight.

@user_3809655571 You should try to dry filament or not use glue on it beccause the glue might be the problem.

@turtley_urtley I have had issues with that model in the past I broke it once and then I tried to reprint it like 500 times and then proceeded to break it once I got it to reprint successfully

@ARTICDRAGON46 it’s probably because the PLA isn’t dry enough and has too much humidity in it

@LivPrintsStuff Hi! I just wanted to point out that it has nothing to do with your filament :) This same model is known for breaking exactly how yours did, when i printed it, it broke just like that. Your filament is fine. Happy printing!
