Filament Recycling Design Contest!
Hey makers!
I'm excited to announce that I'll be hosting my own Filament Recycling Design Contest here on MakerWorld!
I'll personally be funding a $500 prize pool using my own MakerWorld points.
Contest Prizes:
1st place — $250 in MakerWorld points
2nd place — $150 in MakerWorld points
3rd place — $100 in MakerWorld points
Honorable Mention (7 winners)
Each will receive two of my favorite filaments: Bambu PLA Basic Cyan Bambu PLA Basic Orange
Judging
Winners will be chosen by me unbiasedly. Designs will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Relevance (10%)
- Functionality (40%)
- Ingenuity (30%)
- Execution (20%)
Timeline
The contest starts on March 24th and ends on April 24th. After the contest closes, I will review all submissions and select the winners. I'm excited to see the ideas you come up with!

@turtleTAC_3 : its simple just look up s youtube video to learn how to model. i reccomend using the free websites TinkerCad or Onshape to design models.

@3DPrinterers : I might not post it here for the contest since I want to develop a V2, but I do not have much money to use on the project. I plan on crowdfunding. I might post the X-Pull, an affordable filament puller for any liner extruder on the market.
