Introducing the MakerWorld Exclusive License!

Dear MakerWorld community!

At MakerWorld, we’re always listening to your feedback and using it to drive better updates. Today, we’re excited to announce a brand-new license option: the MakerWorld Exclusive License.

This new license lets you keep all the benefits of the Exclusive Model Program while allowing others to remix your exclusive models—within MakerWorld only.

We know that many creators in the Exclusive Model Program have felt limited because:

Exclusive models could only use the Standard Digital File License
This license prohibited the creation of any derivative works

This made it harder for your models to spread and grow.

With the new MakerWorld Exclusive License, you can now enable controlled, platform-limited remixes. Other creators can build upon your exclusive models on MakerWorld, helping your work reach more people, spark creativity, and gain greater visibility—without giving up exclusivity.

@KitCrafters : Very cool to see updates and features that have been asked for by the community! I'll be uploading some new models soon that will have this remixable exclusive license!

@guinea_pigs : Please enforce this, though the number has significantly decreased, I am still talking to creators whose work has been plagiarized on other sites, but they dont do anything because they are in another country (Usually in the UK), and the offender is in the America's. How do you plan to put and end to that?
