A1 Benchy display

I like printing Benchy for my favorite filaments to use as swatches, but I wanted some way to display them. I got the idea to make something that would securely clip onto the A1 top bar and be able to hold my favorite Benchys. I added a water/ocean texture and printed in aqua/blue dual color silk PLA.

Printing notes:

• There are four (4) plates each with a separate piece to print. I found that the print quality was much better printing these individually instead of all together on the same plate. Print all four plates to get the full top bar. You could also just print the first two or last two if you only wanted a partial bar.

Assembly instructions - read this!

• There are two outer edge pieces and two center pieces. You need to attach the outer pieces first by clipping them on in the center, and then sliding them along the bar to the outer edge! Start with the clip around the back side, then gently but firmly rotate forward to clip it on. See gif for example:
  

  
  Repeat this for both the left and right sides edge pieces.

• Once the edges are in place, you can clip on the center pieces. There is enough tolerance to slide the edge pieces out a bit further to make room, then you can slide them back again. Here's a gif of attaching a center piece:
  

  
  

• Finally - attach your Benchys by rotating them at an angle, and then sliding the back of the boat into the dock slot. Do not force them if they are not going in then you need to adjust the angle you are trying to put them in. Once the back of the boat is in, you can rotate the boat back down and then push the boat back a little to get a snug secure fit. Here's a gif of this:
