6500K White LED Light Strip (1pcs) - KA004 / White (41100)

A lightbox featuring the FC Schalke 04 logo.

An internally affixed LED strip illuminates the logo evenly:
For lightboxes, I generally use the following LED strip with a USB-A connector.

I have three variations of the lightbox in the print profile:

  • with an internal white back panel and a slot that emits light upwards and sideways
  • with an internal white back panel
  • without an internal white back panel (for example, if you want to attach reflective aluminum foil)

Inside, the rod serves as strain relief (where you wrap the LED strip cable around it),
preventing accidental detachment of the LED strip.

With a properly calibrated 3D printer, the front panel should snap into the box (snap-fit), eliminating
the need for adhesive. Always calibrate the filament used for printing.
Underextrusion readily creates gaps in surfaces, which is easily visible in this type of print.

Here are coasters featuring the FC Schalke 04 logo.

All in all, a nice light box. The print was also okay. I lined the inside with mirror film. I'm using a 12V LED strip in it and have fitted a DC socket so I can use a plug-in power supply

One can make it with the foil, but for the reason that one usually does not have it lying around, I have made the back white. I also like to incorporate ESP32 controllers for WLED integration

Just as a tip, Neopixels don't tolerate heat well, but the light box doesn't have the round edge on the base to attach them, which could cause problems as they'll be hanging in the air there. You'll notice it when they start to flicker.

Excellent design. I printed it with PETG. It worked perfectly.

If your filament strings, it has nothing to do with the print profile or the model, but with your filament settings User error Surely also printed from the mobile app and didn't read a single line
