Description
A lightbox featuring an FC Bayern München logo.
A laterally affixed LED strip evenly illuminates the logo:
For lightboxes, I generally use the following LED strip with a USB-A connector.
I have three lightbox types in the print profile:
- with an internal white back panel and a slit that radiates light upwards and sideways
- with an internal white back panel
- without an internal white back panel (for example, if you want to apply reflective aluminum foil)
Inside, the rod serves as strain relief (where you wrap the LED strip cable around it),
preventing accidental detachment of the LED strip.
If the 3D printer is properly calibrated, the front panel should snap into the box (snap-fit), and
no adhesive should be necessary to hold the front panel.
In any case, calibrate the filament used for printing.
Underextrusion easily leaves gaps in the surfaces, which is clearly visible in this type of print.
