Description
A lightbox featuring the FAK Austria Wien logo.
A laterally affixed LED strip evenly illuminates the logo:
For lightboxes, I generally use the following LED strip with a USB-A connector.
I have three lightbox types in the print profile:
- with an internal white back panel and a slit that radiates light upwards and sideways
- with an internal white back panel
- without an internal white back panel (for example, if you want to affix reflective aluminum foil)
The internal rod serves as strain relief (where you wrap the LED strip cable around it),
preventing accidental detachment of the LED strip.
With proper 3D printer calibration, the front panel should snap into the box (snap-fit),
eliminating the need for adhesive to secure it.
