Summary

This is a short remix of my Flying Copter Toy :)

My first ones still last strong but everyone is talking about toroidal rotors.
I really like this design and I think it fits this application very well!

But try it out yourself!

I uploaded 4 Versions â 45° Angle to print with a 0,4 or 0,6 mm Nozzle.

The bigger props will obviously have more lift but the smaller ones are cool too :D

As with the original Version I prefer stiff, light and robust materials for these rotors. I print them with PA6CF Filament. But everything else will work too.

Printing Tipp:

Locate the seams at the center piece to get a good airflow and connection between the connection points .)

Update 28.02.2023

I deleted the 50° Angled models since the 45° ones print just fine :) I also added 2 smaller propeller to print with a 0,4/ 0,6 mm Nozzle :)

The first one I printed didn’t have these on it- exact same settings each time- I’m printing at 50%. What am I doing wrong?

increase your filament temperature :) If the layers are not sticking together enough (low layer adhesion) the perimeter can loose in the curves and then go the straight lines ,-)

great print with the a1 mini. used the quality profile offered here and a silk filament. took some tries, but then worked great. would love a smaller and heavier prop that won’t fly as far

Hah :D Noone asked to have a smaller one yet. But When I created this design I also created a smaller version :P I did not upload it here since most will use the bigger ones. This propeller is more stronger than the original one! The first one I destroyed it on the third fly! But this one looks like to be impact resistant! A lot of big impacts but still brand new! My son love to make it fly!!

awesome :D Have a lot of fun! Yah I think it is stronger too. But you always can increase the strength by adjusting your material & settings. (Higher extrusion temps will make it stronger for example)
