A simple block which can be screwed / stuck in place to give a vertical alignment reference.

This ensures the templates are placed in exactly the same place each time to engrave something.

Especially useful if you have a honeycomb bed, or a simple cake stand you place on top of the sacrificial bed ie

  1. Plywood to Cut (on top)
  2. Cake stand (to hold plywood off the sacrificial board to give a cleaner looking cut / burn)
  3. Sacrificial Board (To catch overturn through the plywood while cutting).
  4. Base board (with these blocks screwed down - at the bottom).

Using this ‘sandwich’, you can simply push everything up to the blocks on 2 axis ie x and y and the template / work piece on top can always be placed in the same spot each time.

The block measures:-

  • 40mm High
  • 40mm Wide
  • 30mm Dee[
