Description
These connectors allow you to make your own parts to connect to the top of your Toughbuilt StackTech units. Once attached to the bottom of something, you can simply push the spring-loaded connector forward, lower the fixed connector on the other end, and then allow the fixed connector to spring back into the slot. There are two sets of connectors – one which is bolt-on and the other screw-on. The moveable tenon and cover are common to both versions. Two 5 mm diameter springs, about 30 mm long, are required for each moveable connector along with M3 x 16mm bolts and nuts
I designed a B&D Workmate-inspired work surface which now attaches to the top of my wheeled toolbox. For this I used the bolt-on connectors. I've also added the connectors to a flat piece of board with a replaceable work surface on top – I used the screw-on connectors for this.
